Resources for Webmasters:

Off the topic of dogs. This is a simple listing of the better resources I have found over time for the design, construction, development and promotion of websites. From the brand new to setting up a web page to those that are deeply into it. The resources below are specified for beginners, intermediates and/or advanced webmasters.

  • Website Wizard Great way for the brand new webmaster to get a website up and started in very little time. No html knowledge is needed. Lots of bonuses, like an opt-in email list, surveys, domain name registration included, forums etc. This site was/is built with Website Wizard.
  • Newbie Club This is a very good resource for those that are brand new or close to it with computers and need a place to learn on their own. Lots of free resources available. If you are so new to computing that you don't even know where to start to build a website this is the place for you!
  • Bravenet web services, free and paid. Very good resource, especially helpful for those most new to website work.
  • Get Response A very good autoresponder set-up.
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver top of the line professional level html/text editor. Can be used and learned by the newbie but really designed for the professional. Once you are well started this is the program to use! Not cheap, but all of the Macromedia programs are top of the line.
  • Go Daddy This is a great place to register your domains. Park them until ready to use, forward them to another site, all options are available to you. I have moved all my domains and register all my new ones with Go Daddy. Prices are GREAT!
  • Cafe Press With this company you can sell products off your own web site with your own information and/or logo included. A FREE version that costs you nothing to use and a Pro version for a very modest fee will give you many products to choose from. No set-up fees, no inventory, VERY cool!
  • Alpha Buttons Neat resource to make your own graphics, buttons, banners, headlines, logos, tabs and more. Powerful enough for professionals easy enough for everyone. I use this regularly.
  • I Cop The iCop™ mission is to provide an organization for those online business owners who are truly concerned with establishing the highest business practices on the Internet! The organization, and its members, have a great reputation for business ethics - and we've all worked hard for it!

All resources listed are ones that I personally use. I have gone through many others and have wasted large amounts of time, money and effort. From beginner to the more advanced, these resources are all highly recommended. Some come with affiliate opportunities should you care to take advantage of that possibility. But above all keep in mind these are the resources I use on a regular basis and I own many domains and have a series of websites either online or in development.

Hope you find this helpful in your online endevours,
Eric/DogStar
